Netball NSW partners with GILBERT

Mon 27 June 2011

When the future stars of netball in NSW take to the courts at the 2011 Netball NSW State Age Championships, 2 - 4 July, they will be playing with GILBERT balls.

Announced today by Netball NSW General Manager Carolyn Campbell, GILBERT will join the Netball NSW team as the official ball supplier for all events, programs and teams for the next two years.

GILBERT has a long and proud history of innovative ball technology, launching its netball range in the 1990's. Since then they have been a market leader, creating arguably the best performing netball grip pattern.

Netball NSW General Manager Carolyn Campbell welcomed the addition of GILBERT to the netball family.

"GILBERT joins us at an exciting time for netball in NSW and what better way to launch this new partnership than with one of our flagship grassroots events - the 2011 State Age Championships where over 3000 young netballers will take to the courts," Campbell said.

GILBERT Brand Manager Cameron Black said he was pleased to be partnering with Netball NSW for the next two years.

"We are extremely excited to be partnering with Netball NSW. Netball NSW has a long and proud history in the community and we are proud to be the official and exclusive ball supplier," Black said.

The 2011 Netball NSW State Age Championships will feature 308 teams and will be played at Liverpool (Championship Division), Bankstown (Division Two) and Illawarra (Divisions Three and Four) from Saturday 2 July - Monday 4 July.
